These alloys contain 90% or more tungsten with nickel, iron, or copper added. Unlike pure tungsten, heavy alloy can be conventionally machined and is less expensive.

WCu is readily machinable and known for good thermal and electrical conductivity, low thermal expansion, being non-magnetic, good performance under vacuum, and resistance to erosion from arcing.
Mo
Like tungsten, molybdenum is one of the refractory metals. It does not have the density of tungsten, but still has a relatively high melting point and is somewhat easier to machine.
Mo Ti Zr
TZM stands for Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum. It has a higher recrystallization temperature, a higher creep strength, and higher tensile strength than pure molybdenum.
Ta
Tantalum is a refractory metal with a density and melting point that lies between tungsten and molybdenum. It has high corrosion resistance and high thermal conductivity.
